Ten long-time employees at LH Lift’s Chinese plant have been awarded for more than five years of service. LH Lift established a subsidiary in China 12 years ago, but its longest serving employee in China already has been with the company already 13 years. Helen Sun was recruited by LH Lift Oy to help establish the company’s Chinese subsidiary. Helen Sun is now Managing Director of the subsidiary.

Five of the ten employees who were awarded are white-collar workers and five blue-collar workers. Altogether, LH Lift has approximately 40 employees in China. Workers in China’s industrial cities tend to change jobs regularly, so it is relatively uncommon to have employees with over five years – not to mention over ten years – of service.
