Following an energy audit at its facilities in Laukaa, LH Lift has reduced electricity consumption by 30 percent while maintaining the same levels of production output and machine operating hours.

The energy audit enabled LH Lift to focus more on energy consumption in all its operations. Significant reductions in electricity consumption were achieved, for example, by introducing LED lighting, adding insulation and rationalising water heating in the summer months. Even small measures, such as repairing leaks in the compressed air system, generated a surprising amount of savings by eliminating the need to use compressors at night in order to maintain pressure.
