Inkki Inola named Disabled Athlete of the Year in Central Finland

Inkki Inola, a cross-country skier from Laukaa who is sponsored by LH Lift, has been named Disabled Athlete of the Year at the annual Central Finland sports gala. Inola competed at the 2018 Winter Paralympics in March in PyeongChang, South Korea, where he placed 7th in the sprint and 8th in the 10K classical in the visually impaired category together with his guide Vili Sormunen from Sumiainen.

Already this year, Inola has claimed 6th and 8th positions at the Östersund 2019 World Para Nordic Skiing World Cup in January. In mid-February he will be travelling to Canada to compete in the Prince George 2019 World Para Nordic Skiing Championships.

In addition to skiing competitively, Inola studies law at the University of Eastern Finland in Joensuu. LH Lift is proud to sponsor Inola in his sporting career.
